Melissa Martini (she/her) is a short fiction writer and Capricorn from New Jersey. She studied Creative Writing in both undergrad and graduate school at Seton Hall University. Jona L. Pedersen (they/them) is a writer and researcher. They grew up in Norway, before pursuing degrees in English & biology at the University of North Dakota. Melissa Nunez lives and creates in the caffeinated spaces between awake and dreaming. She makes her home in the Rio Grande Valley region of South Texas, where she enjoys observing, exploring, and photographing the local wild with her homeschooling family. Katie Harper Garrett (she/her) is a queer Irish writer and part-time barista who writes about howls in the night and what’s burning in the kitchen. She graduated cum laude from Amsterdam University College in 2024. Her writing, which appears in Queerlings, tiny spoon mag, fifth wheel press, and more, has been nominated for Best of the Net and Best Small Fictions. Brandon (otherwise known to some as Riff Royale) is a Journalism Major from California. A long and extensive history with media and publishing. He provides those tools as Instagram Engagement Coordinator, and he is dedicated to maintaining a thriving art community for all. Answering your questions about submission details and crafting new partnerships with other literary magazines. When he's not on Moss Puppy's Instagram, he reads various publications, advocates for healthy relationships, is a concertgoer, DJs on radio stations, and runs music organizations on his college campus.

Furgus (he/him) is our Twitter mascot, whose name was chosen via Twitter polls. His middle name is Blort.

Kathryn (she/her) is an artist based in West Virginia. She takes great passion in learning new things and finding ways to use her creativity. Besides all things artsy, her greatest love is for her herd of pets at home.

Nena Kelley (she/her) is a therapist by day and sometimes a writer by very late night. She is a native Floridian with a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida and a Master's in Counseling from Troy University.
